Religion it’s not what you think. Religion stinks, it is a con, a lie and most importantly Religion is dangerous!
At its core Religion is about self-centeredness and control.
Christianity is all about Christ-centeredness and surrender… freely and cheerfully choosing to follow Jesus.
Jesus teaches us that Religion tends to be critical, judgmental, demanding, expected, and holding others to standards that those practicing it never attempt to attain or hold as a standard for themselves.
Religion is short cut ministry based upon changing actions for the short-term not minds and hearts for the long-term.
Most importantly Religion had no place in the walk, way, word, or will of Jesus the Christ.
In scripture we learn what the future holds for the Religious and it doesn't paint a very fulfilling prophecy.
Religion does not give you either power or life. You can only receive eternal life as a result of your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Religion stinks because there is no life in Religion. Religion is law, rules and regulations.
Religion does not yield eternal fruit. It will not quench your thirst. It will not fill you. It doesn't satisfy our hunger.
Don't get caught up in the distraction of Religion. Instead get caught up knowing God and having an intense personal relationship with Him. Through Him we are promised eternal Life.
